Quality Control Approach
GONGYI CITY JINHUI FILTER CO., LTD. applies quality control from order review through product preparation, inspection, packing and dispatch. The objective is to make sure the supplied product corresponds to the confirmed name, specification, quantity, packing and documentation requirements.
Order and Specification Review
Quality control starts before production. The order is reviewed for product form, raw-material description where applicable, particle size or dimensions, required test values, test methods, packing, labels, quantity and delivery conditions. Any unclear requirement should be resolved before the product is finalized.
Product Identification and Traceability
Products are identified by the relevant order and batch information. Records are used to connect the product, inspection, packing and dispatch stages. Clear identification reduces the risk of mixing different products, specifications or customer requirements during preparation and warehousing.
Sampling and Testing
Sampling and testing are arranged according to the product and agreed specification. Activated carbon evaluation may include particle size or dimensions, iodine number, hardness or compressive strength, moisture, ash, bulk density and other application-related items. The applicable test method matters because results from different standards or preparation conditions may not be directly comparable.
For Coconut Shell Activated Carbon and Granular Activated Carbon, particle-size distribution, hardness and visible fines can be important for fixed-bed handling. For Columnar Activated Carbon, diameter and mechanical strength may be relevant. For Honeycomb Activated Carbon, dimensions, channel structure and compressive strength may require attention. Powdered Activated Carbon is evaluated according to the confirmed powder specification and intended dosing process.
Application-Related Review
Laboratory values do not replace application data. Water-treatment products should be considered together with water quality, flow, pH, temperature, contact time and equipment. Gas-phase products should be assessed with contaminant composition, concentration, airflow, temperature, humidity and pressure drop. Gold-recovery carbon also requires consideration of particle size, hardness, screening and circulation conditions.
Packing Inspection
Before shipment, packing units are checked for product identity, visible condition, closure, label information and order quantity. Protective packing is particularly important for honeycomb products, while moisture control and sealed handling are important for powdered and granular products. Pallet and container requirements are confirmed according to the order.
Quality Documents
Available documents may include a product specification, Certificate of Analysis and Safety Data Sheet. The exact documents, test items, standards and format should be agreed before shipment. A Certificate of Analysis presents relevant product or batch results, while a Safety Data Sheet provides information for handling, storage and safety. These documents serve different purposes and should not be treated as interchangeable.
Handling Nonconformities
If a product, packing unit or document does not meet the confirmed requirement, the issue should be identified and reviewed before release. The appropriate action depends on the nature of the discrepancy and may include rechecking, sorting, repacking, correcting documents or holding the affected material for further evaluation.
Continuous Improvement
Customer feedback, inspection records and order experience are used to improve product communication and execution. When reporting a quality concern, customers should provide the product name, batch or order reference, packing condition, photographs, sampling method, test method and relevant results. Complete information helps the company review the issue accurately and respond efficiently.
